Duped

Coming September 2017

Duped is a game where you play as a square. You begin in a cave, cold and alone. Find your way up. Find your way out. Find yourselves.

A 2D action/puzzle platformer where you create and interact with clones to solve puzzles and escape. You'll face off against a series of increasingly difficult puzzles, with only yourselves, physics and your wits. Create clones in order to make your way to the exit for each level. But, think carefully, because only one clone can make it to the next level.

But, until I started doing weekly playtesting nights with external folk as part of my dev cycle, I didn’t really understand how important this was. To illustrate that, I’m going to talk about the changes that one level in the game went through – the third level in the game.
